The aim for this project was simple - to create a work which brings people together through movement. As a collective we are challenging and eliminating real and perceived borders, enforced through societal expectations - and we feel the project is particularly relevant now during the current Covid-19 crisis. The project philosophy extends through to the choice of music to accompany and influence the movement. By choosing the third movement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, we are dismantling the superior, elitist stature that the score traditionally holds, and hopefully making it more accessible to a wider audience

The creative performance cast consists of participants from 9 different countries (spread over 3 continents), coming from a wide variety of walks and stages of life.

The music used within this project is performed by the Fulda Symphonic Orchestra and conducted by Simon Schindler, and is being used under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence the recording comes under.
