Set in-the-round, GABBY is an en-durational work examining how far a performer is willing to push themselves. Originally created to form the assessment of my final undergraduate choreographic project, GABBY is an 8-minute movement sequence on a loop, with the performer holding the decision of when it ceases.

The work is driven by the first three sections of seminal Australian composer Matthew Hindson’s work for orchestra and electric drum-kit Speed (premiered in 1996).
